Still developers are not that interested for this platform and it will be seen in the coming months.

You are in the wrong thread

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Basically a TLDR:

Microsoft is basically keeping the development environment very similar from the Xbox One to Xbox Series X.
Which makes sense as the Xbox Series X's GPU although Navi based, is still based on the Graphics Core Next instruction set, the CPU is still the same x86 instruction set.

So allot of the tools and development pipeline can just be retained but improved and that flows onto development.

So similar to developing to Xbox One, that type of familiarity is good for devs and can speed up process.

Indeed, very much so.

I would imagine the same would be for the Playstation 5, this is likely going to be one of the first console generations where there hasn't been a paradigm shift in development environments going from one generation to another, but refining and improving what was already established.

That's a good thing, we should see the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X's potential tapped very quickly.

Sure it can but it will all depends on what the dev wants.

I imagine it will be for PS5 as well, but I didn't mention it since it is primarily a Xbox thread. But yes that is very good for devs, more time developing and less time learning details that may not improve the game.

Accusing other users of being trolls is against the rules.  If you think something is a troll thread, then you can report it, although in this case, we can't see anything trolling about this.

Thats the problem, developers and most of the public dont care too much about performance and fps.

They rather have a game looking beautiful and running at 25fps than a little less beautiful and running at 60fps.

Neither the public care, unfortunately.

I do preffer IQ over 60fps.
