The trailer for Demon's Souls has some good information on the game - https://youtu.be/2TMs2E6cms4

From JAPAN Studio and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon's Souls. This remake invites players to experience the original brutal challenge, completely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced with a new “Fractured Mode." In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate. Coming to PlayStation 5.

The design looks like one of those Xbox 720 renders from 2010 haha.

So...

Spiderman PS5
Ratchet and Clank
Gran Turismo 7
Demon's Souls
Resident Evil 8
Horizon 2

And a whole bunch of smaller titles sprinkled around between.

There's still a lot being held back, obviously, but not too bad for a reveal show. Next couple months will be interesting.

Sackboy - A big adventure looked big budget too.
Thats like a mario Oddessy level of money project.

Astrobot looked amasing too.

Destruction All Stars + Returnal are maybe not the biggest titles but they looked alright too.

3rd party stuff:

  • Bugsnax (Young Horses)
  • DEATHLOOP (Bethesda)
  • Ghostwire™: Tokyo (Bethesda)
  • Godfall™ (Gearbox Publishing / Counterplay Games)
  • Goodbye Volcano High (KO-OP)
  • Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (Rockstar Games)
  • HITMAN 3 (IO Interactive)
  • JETT : The Far Shore® (Superbrothers)
  • Kena: Bridge of the Spirits (Ember Lab)
  • Little Devil Inside (Neostream Interactive)
  • NBA 2K21 (2K, Visual Concepts)
  • Oddworld Soulstorm™ (Oddworld Inhabitants™)
  • Pragmata (Capcom)
  • Project Athia* (Square Enix/Luminous Productions)
  • Resident Evil Village (Capcom)
  • Solar Ash (Annapurna Interactive / Heart Machine)
  • Stray (Annapurna / Blue Twelve Studio)
  • Tribes of Midgard (Gearbox Publishing / Norsfell)
  • The Pathless (Annapurna Interactive / Giant Squid)

Kena Bridge of Spirits looked awesome, that was like a pikmen game done big budget.
Godfall looked amasing too, hell Oddworld too.

It all looked great imo.
Bugsnax is the only thing that looked a bit too "indie" for my likes.

Yeah, I should clarify: while I think this was a great showcase for the PS5... Nothing I saw actually make me want to buy it. I thought Horizon was ok, not really excited about the sequel; I'm not into Spiderman; If Demon's Souls is your average BluePoint remake where they only update the visuals I can stick with the original; I'm not a RE fan... And most of the other small titles will probably be multiplatform.

The only two games I'm actually excited for are Ratchet and Clank, Sackboy and the game with the astronaut lady that is living a loop. Which... Is not nearly enough to make me buy the console.

More like Mario 3D World, but it looks amazing nonetheless

Cry more, i AM sure you know better than Sony engeniers . Lmao

Cry more? I want PS5 to be good. Been a Sony fan since 2006. As consoles become more and more powerful it becomes harder and harder to properly cool them while sticking to the standard console design. I know this, you know this, MS's designers know this. Sony's designers know this. The problem is that Sony's engineers can't stop some dumb exec from demanding it have an outdated form factor. This thing is going to blow like a jet engine, and die after 7-10 years of use.

Yeah it doesn't look too great on the side.

I really wanted a black version.
