ResetEra is full of leftists and is very easy to get a ban there. Its pretty much a hive-mind mentality. You go against the wave in any political correct form its going to lead to a ban.

I am a leftist. But I always thought pushing out people for the 'wrong' opinion is a conservative, right-wing thing.

Nah right wing people are the opposite of the spectrum that would be like 4Chan. Neogaf is the in middle. These guys do they push their agenda/s a lot on there. If you say anything offensive on there you get a ban. Anything that talks bad about their political views and you are instantly labelled as a bigot and hater.

If you see the threads, everyone generally agrees to same political stances and you hardly see anyone who goes against it. A bit like an echo chamber. Its kinda eerie.

No,it's a people thing.

Likely many do not even understand what it should mean to support a certain side, often it is about belonging and feeling accepted by a group of people.

Yeah it feels like a confirmation of anger in the form of unified groupthinking sometimes, the times i went on that forum that scared me a bit.

Subtle accepted ''happy'' hate,it feels like this video.

Yes,one of the most left leaning youtubers that was formerly liked on ResetEra is now suddenly banned for his well thought out opinion on a game.(If you watch the review you notice he even makes an effort to not upset those with other takes on the game)

I'm unaware on how much this site is linked to ResetEra but please let us not become a hivemind like that.

This site started because ioi (founder) was basically shunned from GAF because they laughed at his tracking.

Oh so apart from spawning ResetEra,GAF's influence did something eventually fruitfull. :P

Neogaf can be the opposite. ResetEra has a lot of industry insiders though so its worth check out out from time to time.

NeoGaf used to be really important to the industry. I rarely hear it referenced anymore. I don't know if it's just me or has something on the site changed that makes it less important?

I remember when it was THE forum if you wanted news, leaks and information for video games. I guess its less relevant now as a lot of people have moved to ResetEra but that kind of fizzled as well. I think that took away some of its appeal, taking a lot of video games industry guys with them. Also with social media, Reddit and other public outlets its easier to get the word out on stuff.

I just browse through there sometimes, as they usually have some interesting news on there.. same as ResetEra.

Brilliant, atmospheric game. I'm really enjoying it.

Thank you for trying to get things somewhat back to the topic. :)

I get that a lot of you are not Era fans, but let's bring this back to relevance.

Yeah i'm sorry for that,i do think that was my fault as i sometimes randomly spout about things that annoy me in threads that only mildly connect with it.

I would totally play this game if i was more in the shooter/zombie type of games, this world and it's graphics are extremely immersive and if they can do this on a ps4 i can not even imagine what they can bring us on the ps5.

I remember something as the lead moderators or site owner got in deep crime accusation (sexual conduct or similar) and the forum was emptied and most moved to ResetERA.
