All these 10/10s. Holy shit. There are only a few genuine critical reviews. It's very sad how restricted the reviews are with showing any materials to emphasize their point. Skill Up's review about the game is as close to genuine as it gets. Naughty Dog is really dead to me.

This definitely feels like it will be one of those high review scores from critics while low scores from actual players.

My opinion also. I believe a lot of people wont even complete the game. Really curious to see players reaction for this one.

Still 86 reviews, I think it should end up with around 120 reviews.
So the is still a lot to come xP

Some are saying that some reviewers are holding off until next week because of the restrictions sony put on them. While it might not drop the score much as it will probably be just a few, I still think those will be the ones to really listen to.

Half Life will definitely win best VR game and it should be in the game of the year conversation. However, to be honest the panel of judges usually don't show a lot of love to PC exclusives let alone VR ones. Disco Elysium did well last year but not well enough to beat Sekiro.
Geoff doesn't show a lot of love to PC games and usually shows the most love to console games. The panel of judges for VGA's are people like Greg Miller and the like. I really can't see Half Life taking game of the year. Cyberpunk is really the only top contender left for this.

I wont deny that TLOU2 will be a definite contender for the GOTY, i was just alittle confused as to why a game sitting on a 93 isnt a chance. I mean TLOU won GOTY over GTA5 which outscored it which is my point.

Greg Miller is also bias towards Play Station so it wouldnt suprise me of his decisions either. Half Life Alyx will most likely get sub-catagoried which wouldnt be justifiable for such a talented game, it also shows we shouldnt take GOTY awards to seriously.

Cyberpunk will definity be in the talks, also we have Halo Infinite which is looking promising aswell.

I highly doubt it will take many GOTY awards. The last Halo game that got critically high scores and praise all round was Halo Reach (2010), and that was with Bungie at the helm (91 meta on 360). Halo 4 and 5 didn't reach 90.

Seems like ND done it again and it will be a great swan song for PS4, and we still have GoT to wrap things up. We can live with SM Miles Morales being made PS5 only.

96, hey thats what I predicted! do I get a prize?
First time I participate in those predictions threads, thats fun, will do it more often.

No you don`t, you have to pay a penalty since you said there would be no score lower than 90 and there were plenty.

Absolutely incredible scores! Also, TLoU2 now over takes Persona 5 Royal as the highest rated game and exclusive this year!

Those scores represent a nice FU to all the haters who came into any TLoU article with Sony is woke crap and posting leaks on purpose because they are salty. It will get even better for them when they see Neil Druckmann on stage with Geoff Keighley at the VGA’s to collect the Game of the Year award!

Half Life Alyx might block Neil's path.

A VR Only game and 3 points lower than TLOU2? I don`t think it will win over.

Why does Half Life Alyx not winning GOTY against TLOU2 would prove it shouldn`t be taken seriously?

I'm so excited for GoT too.

But I doubt it'll come close to TLoU2 in any kind of metric (score, awards, sales).

Honestly can't wait for it even all the TLoU2 and PS5 stuff going on.

I`m pretty sure it won`t challenge TLOU2 score or sales, but well it is still something great coming few months before console gen ends, hope it can sell enough before it loses the spotlight and not end up with GT6 sales being reducted because of new gen.

I think it just has to be accepted by all that naughty dog has reached a level atop the rest. The only other devs in its ranks are rockstar and CDPR.

Apparently they can only go spoiler happy with the story June 18th.

Still, I already saw the spoiler free reviews from people I follow on YT and they have all been extremely positive.

The judgement will be when I can finally play it, shipping is scheduled to June 25th here tho =(

Was watching digital foundry today's video and damn that game looks bonkers, I think my PS4 might finally become the jet engine it always wanted to be and fly away while I'm playing it xD

I know How you feel and under different circumstances I would also be all in, but I have seen the leaks so I still worried and keep praying that they where wrong. So I will still wait for next weeks batch.
