Forums - Gaming Discussion - No Titanfall game currently in development, the Titanfall game Zampella teased in early 2019 seems to have been cancelled

Reminds me of the thread about a Titanfall developer who laughed about Switch's chances for success and my snarky response was that he should be more worried about his own series' future.

Sounds like you're glad it happened, like cutting your own nose off to spite them, based on your favourite piece of plastic of brand name being mildly insulted by one person out of 7+ billion.

Either way, I liked both games and I'm sad that they've basically been bought out by EA and pretty much forced onto other projects. The franchise could have been something more, had it not been an MP only based game from the start.

No more Titanfall does no harm to me, so the saying that you cite does not apply here.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I think I remember about it and another ex-famous dev on a failed franchise that was "worried" about other companies failing.

I guess that's a lesson in humility for that dev.

I wonder if he worked at Activision a decade prior. One of them said Wii could not run the menu of Modern Warfare...then all those games were ported to Wii and DS.

Dang TitanFall 2 was soo good

It's in my Top 5 games of the generation.  Up there with TW3, BotW, Doom, and... maybe GoW or something.
