I truly do hope that it is a story driven 3rd person action-adventure stealth reboot of Perfect Dark like the rumors suggest.

Didn't Phil recently say that there is no Perfect Dark game in development, or was that some other IP?

I think that was something else. Shadowrun or MechAssault maybe?

Ah the Camspy and Drugspy I hope it’s true

Have been a long since the last entry, I guess there will be a lot of people excited for it.

Have you not played Perfect Dark (N64/360) before?

Id agreed, I liked it more then Zelda OoT, however majority might disagree with us here.

It sits on a 97 Meta for good reason.

I remember only the reveal and all the hype it generated at the time, but haven`t played, at the time I had no friend with N64, and on the X360 it wasn`t that much talked anymore so I flought under my radar.

I've personally never played Perfect Dark or Perfect Dark Zero. But I know that Perfect Dark both reviewed well (97 meta) and sold pretty well (2.5m+, would have sold better if it had released earlier in N64's life, by the time it released on N64 gen 6 had already begun with Dreamcast released and PS2 right around the corner), so the game has a built in fanbase that MS can win over, so I feel like out of everything The Initiative could be working on, a Perfect Dark reboot probably has the highest chance of being a success, compared to the riskiness of making a new IP. Meanwhile, on a more personal level, I like near future sci-fi/cyberpunk settings and I find Joanna Dark super hot, so I'd totally be down to play a 3rd person story driven action-adventure stealth reboot.

On the flip side, it’s so old most young gamers never heard of it. It’s a pretend new IP, so creative of MS ;)

Well if you ever consider giving it a try, I would recommend playing the 360 version which you can get either via the digital store or on Rare's Replay. I consider it Rare's best game.
