The Nintendo DS has a userbase of 15 million+ in Japan. DQ: Monsters was hampered by shortages recently. If it sells around 2 million to a base of 15 million, then I would expect Dragon Quest IX to sell around 3-4 million to a base of like 18-20 million Nintendo DS' in Japan.
