I'm definitely pro sprint as well, but the one thing I'll say, is that some of the maps that 343 made (and/or remade) didn't suit having the feature at all. I don't wanna be tripping over enemies every 2 steps.

I said it only a few days ago, and I will say it again. Gamepass is going to fuck with my willingness to buy games.
I bought and played KH3. Granted, it has been a decent window since launch. But I am not a die hard KH fan, I could have waited.
I literally had Two Point in my Steam cart a couple of weeks ago and am very glad I didn't buy it. But it reinforces the message that you shouldn't risk it.
Don't get me wrong, could work out great for Microsoft, and publishers that do well on Gamepass. But they need to be careful they don't become Nintendo, with third parties not feeling they can make money on the system.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
Ugh, just as I suspected. Yakuza launching day one on gamepass kills any possibility of it having a physical release. This totally sucks. If Microsoft actually cares about physical media as Phil Spencer says, then it's time to do something about it. At least partner with Limited Run, so they can publish the games on physical media if MS cant do it themselves.
KH collection is a total scam by SqEnix. Once again they prove that they are the worst Japanese publisher in terms of Xbox support by far. Selling remakes of first two makes for 110$ digital only (once again) when PS4 gets full bundle on disc (with KH3 included) for 50$ next month.

Yes, always use OpenCritic. Our reviews get put on OpenCritic and can't be put on Metacritic. |
Why can't they be put on Metacritic?

Two point was announced long ago that it will be a gamepass day one game. Publishers seem happy so far.

I still can't believe that EA hasn't given us a Mass Effect Remaster Trilogy. I remember the producer or director saying like 5+ years ago that he wanted to do one for current gen systems, and work the DLC's into the main storyline at the proper places chronologically. A Mass Effect Remaster Trilogy wouldn't take much effort and would sell well, it's like EA doesn't want money. I really hope that THQ Nordic does something with the Kingdoms of Amalur IP after they bought it last year. That IP had so much promise, and EA basically sent it out to die. |
Who will develop it though? Bioware is in a big big trouble right now. They need to fix that shitty game called Anthem ASAP.

Well, if it was a simple HD remaster of the trilogy instead of a full-on remake, they could find pretty much any old AA studio that has remaster experience to do it. A full-on remake would obviously require a AAA studio though, like Bioware themselves. Bioware is definitely in pretty sorry shape now sadly, I really hope they don't fuck up Dragon Age 4. |
EA promised some remasters of old games coming soon if I'm not mistaken. So, there is still hope for ME remaster, because I don't even know what other popular IPs they have that are fit for remaster treatment.
At this point, EA waited too long to get away with a simple ME trilogy remaster, with upped resolution and frames. That's not gonna cut it now. If they go back, they gotta give me a full on remake. The full trilogy, designed around the Andromeda combat system, with a state of the art graphics overhaul, or at the very least the latest version of Frostbite they can get running well enough without breaking everything, as they are apparently so good at doing.

I wouldn't mind that but I'm not confident 343 will do it, at least not for launch. 343 definitely need to improve their map design though like Angelus said. |
Oh, so you’re a pro sprint now. Remember when you use to call pro sprint fans sh*t head and illiterate? 😃
