Man at this point it would be criminal for MS not to Greenlight a AAA Shadowrun game.

Got my preorder with issues. Had to pay twice. The retailer has issues on its side when you get charged but no order is being created. Lots of people reporting this and they officially acknowledged that. After 3 hours, the first order appeared and I requested a refund for it.
4 hours to go here before preorder are up :) I'm already refreshing the page on Amazon.ca, Microsoft.ca and EbGames.ca (GameStop) non stop...
Hoping to get an Xbox Series X and two S today for my kids.
On a spending spree now. Oh dear. Just ordered a 4k monitor, so games that actually do run above 1080p on the Series S will benefit me.

Yup! Glad one of my insane predictions did pan out.

To think of their financial ambition here a decade earlier...Bioware may have been in a better place. |
This is what happens when MSFT actually acts like... MSFT. Make no mistake, this is what they are like normally. Xbox under Don was essentially a lame duck version of what they normally are like.
crissindahouse said: They can release the games on other platforms but they should be also timed exclusive for a year for Xbox+PC (or at least half a year). It would be kind of a joke to have own studios releasing games day one on PS while PS buys games away from Xbox for a year. |
Agreed.
Angelus said: lol if I'm MS, the only way Sony gets Bethesda games now is if Sony stops all their moneyhatting across the landscape. If not....no toys for you. At least not for a year or so on everything. |
I am fine with timed exclusivity. What I'm not fine with is releasing on PS5 with no concessions whatsoever.

Man, people really want NV2 don't they? Never mind the fact it wouldn't be set in NV, but rather somewhere else. I'd rather get a TES spinoff.

Looks like I'm on the same boat. I'm not preordering either. I want to go to my store and buy it myself.

I actually live in Xboxland (Colombia, which is a "Deep Green" state). However, I know AlKosto often overstocks for some bizarre reason, so I'm getting them from those guys... Either that or using Amazon Prime to get it cheaper.

I've been giving this more thought, and what I think I would do in MS' position, is strongarm Sony into putting some of their own exclusives on Xbox, in exchange for continued access to huge franchises like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, etc. If Sony wants those games on to be on their platform moving forward, make them reciprocate by offering something like Spiderman, and God of War to Xbox gamers.
fuck it tomorrow is going to be even bigger

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
Hello I have a question. I get the feeling that Microsoft’s goal is to get their games to every device (if it’s possible). That everyone can use the Gamepass’ vast library. Does this mean that strategy games like Age of Empires will become available on Xbox Series S/X?

I don't see why not. The only real hang up here is controls, but even there, you could get around it with keyboard and mouse support.

My thought exactly!
Come on MS bring your strategy games to console!
