Fenix is very much a significant part of the story though and judging from the ending of Gears 5 he'll be an even bigger part in Gears 6.

Just going off Reddit, the VASY majority picked JD to live. Mostly because we all love Marcus so much and he’s been through enough pain as it is.

I honestly don't remember who I chose to bite the dust but that's because I watched the other scene on Youtube right after completing the game.

I guess I chose Del because I didn't want to see a sad Marcus. JD was a jerk throughout most of Gears 5 so he probably deserved it a little more.

Id venture to say that at least another couple million played it this way, it was in the top GP charts for weeks

I get that, I do. and I am a huge Fable fan and I hope they've knocked it out of the park. But realistically this is just so far outside their wheelhouse (LOLOL) we can't take it for granted it will be amazing...just that it will look amazing.

I don't think that Peter ever intended to lie. He just got so excited about the possibility of things that he didn't stop to consult his programmers to ask if those things were actually possible on current hardware before he announced them.

Don't play Gears, so I can't comment on how woke it has gotten, but if it has gotten woke, I'm all for de-wokifying it. Not a fan of this recent trend of politcal correctness in video games.  

I don't think Gears is overly politically inclined in any way. The lead is a woman who is well written and suits the story. 

If she was a side character I doubt anyone would think Gears 5 was woke.

  • Full character creation if possible, instead of simply picking your gender and having your appearance based solely on stats, clothing, and hair & facial hair styles.
  • Bring back fan-favorite cities and towns, but also plenty of new ones, in a fully open world Albion map. 
  • Keep the combat simple like Fable 2 and 3, that system just worked so much better than the Fable 1 system, which many found too complicated. 
  • Expand the RPG mechanics with skill trees and such.
  • Go for a semi-realistic, semi-cartoon artstyle. Perhaps a bit less stylized/cartoony than Fable Legends was.
  • Deliver on some of those old Peter Molyneux promises there weren't possible due to technical limitations back then, but are possible now.
  • Make it bigger than earlier Fable games. For RPG's, Fable games were always kind of on the short side, beatable in less than 30 hours. I'd like to see at least double that size if possible.

🤔 I’m surprised, I voted Halo infinite though I can’t deny my interest in the series has been declining over the years... I miss the times I could proudly say Halo was my favorite franchise and Bungie was my favorite devs. But anyways...

all incredibly close, Hellblade took my surprise and I ended up enjoying it. Fable was always average to me but PG at the helm... nuff said. And I’m just really curious as to what TI is up to. The real ranking will come after E3... I think we’ll see a lil something from these games.

Conker from Double Fine, Banjo but I don't know from which studio tho, I would love .

Kind of hope we get more Double Fine indies like stacking/Costume quest etc.

Also some new casual games with Rare IP's maybe something like Powerstone with Rare characters (but only announce it when you also make a Banjoy game/conker game otherwise people would get mad)
