Wasn’t the whole point was to make a story driven game? Xbox already have so many amazing MP experiences out there.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
RTU saying there was a change in leadership had me worried af but it’s a veteran returning. Now I’m more hopeful for Infinite! Please be good

Welp, that sucks. Looks like next-gen I will rarely be buying any games at launch due to price increase.

FFS... I mean, kinda makes sense. Where we were at we could kill most spiders. maybe not infected ones at night, but still. Need to buff them asses, make them phat.

Scoop with the mighty @dinabass — following the delay (and rocky development) of Halo Infinite, Microsoft has put renowned Halo vet Joseph Staten into a top leadership role at developer 343 Industries. Staten returns to the series he helped shape https://t.co/DJx5889KIi

You don't see sonysaying we're missing out in the shooters and WRPGs department, let's shift some studios to work on these genres. Actually, Sony was at its weakest point, IMO, when they were trying to find the Halo killer in the first half of last gen. Big portion of their budgets went to Killzone, Risistance, Socom, MAG and others. Microsoft over all was at its weakest point when it tried to copy Apple with Zune, Windows 8, Surface RT, Windows phone and other products.
Be loyal to your fans/customers/clients. Try to give them the best experience you can. Don't give them subpar experience to try and bring new fans. This is insulting. You'll end up losing the fans and you won't convince new ones with your efforts.
If a developer comes with an idea which they think it is the best experience they can provide, either accept it or ask them to go look for another. Don't push them into a certain direction.

Not saying MS is or should be pushing them in any direction. Last I knew the Initiative was working on a story driven game, something Phil commented that Xbox could use more of. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a certain genre, I wouldn’t care what it is but if it’s a MP only experience I personally would lose interest. Has nothing to do with copying the competition. You want your platform to attract as much people as possible regardless of what your competition is doing. I’m just saying that I would be personally disappointed if it’s a MP only (only being the keyword) experience.
