Yeah I am definitely now buying an Xbox Series X.

Halo looked amazing.

Around the Network

They just dropped Fable at the end for obvious "if you stayed with us" reasons...

But yeah, they never disappoint when it comes to being underwhelming. The Vanished also seem to be joining forces with our favorite holographic smart home assistant... and Everwild definitely looks entirely BotW like, which is a good thing.

And we already know it was Playground all along and from the looks of it, their aesthetic might be less "potato" and more "look ma, I'm Final Fantasy" instead, which is also good.

Stalker and the Medium get honorable mention alongside Psychonauts... otherwise, no bombs, no release date for H6 or SX and no Lockhart mention. Well... hopefully they will drop something heavier later on, especially when it comes to JP. Obtaining some help from Sega isn't going to cut it.

Show was good but nothing truly exciting. 7/10

I've said here before that i really wanted a snow level and wildlife in SoD3, so i'm really excited they showed both.
The Fable trailer was very short which sucks, but it seemed like it's keeping it's whimsical, fairytale-like style so it's already a winner for me.

Solid 8/10 for me! Pretty much the same score I gave Sony. Wish they had more Japanese announcements (fuck you Goat) but solid showings overall from their big guns! FABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a gamepass subscriber there is a lot to look forward too and the games looked really cool. Microsoft just needs to show more gameplay.

I don't know :) For me it was the opposite. I mean, I just loved it, the whole show. Only part that was "meh" for me was when they went with that streak of 3/4 third parties exclusive console launches. But the rest, omg I loved it.

Halo Infinite: is everything I was hoping for based on the few minutes of gameplay. Open-world, Halo CE-esque! This is by far my best take-out of this show :)
BTW: here some info about the open world: https://www.ign.com/articles/halo-infinites-open-world-has-upgrades-to-discover-places-to-explore-new-weapons-to-find and story: https://www.ign.com/articles/halo-infinite-villain-and-story-details-revealed

Fable: Yes it was a very small teaser but again, a new Fable game, reboot. Rumors or not, now this is 100% confirmed.
Medium: nah, not a big fan of horror games
Forza: I mean, best racing game out there. Reboot with a real campaign (based on other sources). Woot
Everwild: No idea what the game is about but gosh it looks gorgeous.
State of Decay 3: I mean, I'm still playing the second one on a weekly basis. So I'm on board :) And graphically looks like they are going to seriously step up.
Stalkers 2: Nice little surprise :)
Outer worlds expansion: Woot? No? Yes? I think it is easily to announce a "Outer worlds 2" so I'm happy with this.

+ a tone of other things.. And everything on Gamepass...

Yes, this was a GREAT show to me. I'm very happy with what I saw and I am looking forward for all of this.

Anyone got a list of the games shown that are scheduled for launch?

Genuinely surprised at the mixed reactions here. My cons were too many timed exclusives, which are nice but I’d rather see more 1st party. Ninja Theory blue balled me and I wanted more of Fable.

Halo Infinite looked less then I thought, given the draw distances and benchmarks. Still looks better then 5 and nailed the art and music. Gameplay similar to Doom which is a good thing.

Avowed was a near religious experience. This is Obsidian unleashed and I can’t wait to hear more. Forza drop dead gorgeous. The rest look good but not my first priority.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
