Lack of Halo news really sucks. Even though we've had 2 trailers we only know that it takes place after 5, you play as chief, and its gonna launch with the series X with a revamped engine. I'm craving Infinite info or trailers.

I'm glad that we haven't heard much. Leading up to Halo 5, there was constant news flow, cool trailers, an awesome podcast style marketing campaign….and then none of that shit had anything to do with the actual story of the game, which was in fact a complete dumpster fire, that took all the air out of the end of Halo 4. Far as I'm concerned, less is more right now. Dial back all the hype, and hoopla….just quietly go about this business of getting it right, please.

We will most likely see more of the game during the Xbox Series X unveiling and more at E3. I'm guessing first gameplay footage during the unveil and a look at some big new multiplayer mode at E3.

That's still 5 months away. I'm an entitled gamer. I want info now.

On everything. XSX, halo, Forza, hellblade...

Phil, I know you read these forums. Send me a message please.

I actually wouldn't mind a solid leak though for a change if I'm being honest. On anything. PS5, XSX, switch pro even...

There are lots of games that have a constant flow of information and end up great. It's not like it's one way or the other 343i and feed their userbase and develop the game like almost every other studio.

This is fine by me. After E3, we’ll get more info straight from the source.

It's okay, once we get through boring ass January and February we'll start getting more Xbox news in general and time will go by quicker. Even if Xbox doesn't reveal Series X specs anytime soon they'll very likely leak out of GDC, plus the amazing Ori and hopefully more news about Q2 titles.

We do get Ori and the Will of the Wisp in March! I am very much excited for it.

If they don't delay it again

Hopefully we get an inside Xbox soon.

As a Halo fan it has been a long wait. There will be a 5 year gap between Halo 5 and Halo Infinite. Though, I guess there was Halo Wars 2.

It will do Halo good to be out of sight and out of mind for that long and not too much. Halo and 343i for the past 5 years have been pestered with some toxic fans and haters. Like with most relationships, a time off sometimes heightens the emotions.

The problem with this kind of early lists is we have no idea which ones will be cancelled by Microsoft.

Not much to get excited for, I wont be hyped for Halo because I was disappointed with 4 and 5 so I have my doubts.

Where's a new Fable?

Cant be excited for Ori, kinda liked the first but was not even in the top 30 of best games for me this generation

In fact the best xbox games I've had this generation was backwards compatible 360 games. I would be more excited with a Max payne 3 in 4K than anything else

To be honest this whole generation has been boring on the xbox side since launch. The most excited I've been was backwards compatible games. A bit disappointing, hopefully Microsoft can start getting great games next gen.

Hoping they do one in February.

February - Inside Xbox.

April - Series X Reveal.

June - E3.

August - Gamescom.

November - X020.

I hope they do X020 around launch window. To stream Series X launch live. That would be awesome.
