Another very odd thing that Brad Sams is trying to point out is the thought that Microsoft doing this huge change up as a reaction to the September update video. As if Microsoft has not been kept in the loop, or reached out to 343 for updates, post launch of the game to see how things are going. If you're spending hundreds of millions of dollars on a single game, you have to figure it's being heavily monitored.

Yeah sounds like bullshit, just like all the talk how September update kIlLeD hAlO. No it didn't, it's still doing well on most played list, matchmaking is quick even on playlists with much less traffic (land grab for example) and even steam numbers are slightly up.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Exactly. The only thing that will kill Halo is if 343 decides to stop supporting it. Then yeah, it will die. Fortunately, that is not the case. I wouldn't be surprised to see the game have a huge resurgence next year.

Yeah, I read how many other popular games like Fortnite, Apex, CoD, predominantly battle royales lol, killed Halo. And that there's just no room for games like Halo anymore. I've always made the argument that Halo has not died of "natural causes" like many are claiming. Imagine if Infinite launched with the campaign along with splitscreen/network co-op, Forge, Custom Games Browser/File Share, along with the most maps/modes in Halo's history. It would constantly be among the most played games out there! Big name content creators wanted Halo to succeed. Many were done with CoD and Apex and wanted to jump ship to Halo Infinite. Just on Steam alone, there were over 250,000 concurrent players at launch. Players are there that want to play Halo if 343 can get there crap together.

The game is far from dead.
