Why no other option in the poll?

Clearly The Lost Vikings is the correct answer.

I never played a lot of Blizzard games, even in my PC days.
Warcraft II was cool, never got into Warcraft III. Turned me off somehow. Wasn't a fan of these hero characters. WoW is abysmal IMO. Hearthstone is nothing for me either.
Starcraft was pretty awesome but I didn't play it a lot. My brother did though and I was watching most of the time. Never played Starcraft II as at that time I was focused 100% on 360.
Never played Overwatch.
Diablo 3 is the only one in the series I've played and it's pretty good. Though I don't see why I should continue playing it after I'm done with the story.

Here's a list of publishers by market value over $1bn.

  • Activision Blizzard - $60bn.
  • Electronic Arts - $34bn.
  • Take Two Interactive - $21bn.
  • Nexon - $15.63bn.
  • Bandai Namco - $15.29bn.
  • Krafton - $8.07bn.
  • Embracer Group - $7.21bn.
  • Konami - $6.46bn.
  • Capcom - $5.45bn.
  • NCsoft - $5.38bn.
  • Square Enix - $5.17bn.
  • Koei Tecmo - $5.09bn.
  • Ubisoft - $4bn.
  • Perfect World - $3.78bn.
  • Sega Sammy - $3.02bn
  • Kadokawa - $$2.62bn.
  • Paradox Interactive - $1.57bn.

Not including Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Tencent, NetEase or Epic Games or any private companies.

I wonder if Sega would be worth more or less without Sammy.

If Pearl Abyss isn’t worth 1 billion then that needs to be the next move imo, MS already talked about going into non traditional markets and South Korea is on the rise with AAA development.

Also Koei Tecmo is worth a lot more than I thought, while Capcom would be my preferred Japanese acquisition Sega just makes more sense and is the easier target.

Wow, Bandai Namco is worth a LOT more than I thought they would be! I'm surprised how much Konami is still worth considering they barely make games anymore lol. I guess their pachinko business is going well lol

I've always been curious to see what Valve is worth. Lord Gaben is a billionaire and with only like 500 employees at the most, Valve is probably the most profitable company in terms of revenue/employee numbers. I think last I read, Valve could be worth around $10 billion, but I think that's a low ball.

I think Epic is valued around $30bn but Unreal Engine is absolutely everywhere in gaming and films, Fortnite is massive too, Epic Store is probably insignificant.

Valve does have a few extremely popular IPs on PC and they dominate the PC market think $10bn is probably lowballing it a little. Don't think they'd be as big as Epic but maybe around $15-$20bn.

Yeah, most of Epic's value single handedly comes from Unreal Engine. Fortnite is still a giant, but not what it once was with Apex Legends and CoD Warzone giving it intense competition. Tim Sweeney said himself that he doesn't expect EGS to become profitable until 2027 I think it was beginning of 2021 where he put an annual report on EGS, of course painting it in a positive light, but people realized when it came to the number he showed of user accounts for EGS compared to third party spending on the storefront, it equated to just $5 spent per person I only ever use it to claim free games

No joke. Dota 2 and CS:GO by a mile are number 1 and 2 most played games on Steam every day for years now. CS:GO by itself gets around 1 million concurrent players every day. Team Fortress 2 15 years later even is always in the top 10 on a daily basis. Valve has the IPs, if they only do more creatively with them.

Who the hell at Disney thought it was a great idea to let Gameloft develop a console game?
Disney Dreamlight Valley is such a shitty experience. The game is 30 FPS on Series X despite being 60 FPS on PS5. Oh what is that? It's a bug you can fix by going into the menu and changing the SOUND to default settings? It already got an update but this wasn't fixed lol.
Oh and it's in no way a locked 60 FPS experience. Far from it.

We'll get those after, don't worry

Philly just has to make a sneaky unofficial promise to Max Hobberman that he'll buy his ass after ABK is done

The issue is others are grabbing some of them while Xbox is tied up. Just look at Crystal and Eidos, I think Xbox for sure would have outbid Embracer's meager $300m offer for them, were it not for them being tied up with Acti-Blizz and not wanting to anger the regulators by acquiring more studios, especially since Crystal is developing Perfect Dark. Instead Embracer got them for a pittance while Xbox was tied up.

This was Phil probably when he read the news of Embracer getting CD, Eidos, and SE Europe along with their respective IPs for pennies.

Most likely the same person who thought it was a good idea to let Zynga develop a console Star Wars game, the upcoming Star Wars Hunters, which looks like shit.

Never heard of it but seems like it's a mobile game that also gets ported to Switch.

Some dude calling himself "The Insider" is teasing everyone with games, and even the Snitch follows him. Someone in the Avowed subreddit asked him about the game and is only giving teases lol

This guy @thereallnsider told me this when I asked him about avowed anyone know what does this mean ? : avowed (reddit.com)

But this does remind me that we missed out on the Grandia 1&2 HD ports... I would've definitely bought those on Xbox
