Awesome!

But I'm wondering why they don't migrate the games to the Windows Store.

Cause it's garbage.

For real, Idk, it's a bit odd, could be it's more technically extensive than the Steam store.

Or it could be that the games division does not like or care to work with the group that runs the MS Store.  Was there not an article or something on this.

Other way around. The Windows team told the gaming division to screw off.

TT Games have lost exclusivity to the Lego license.

Lets go Lego Halo!

That could be a problem for the development studio lol

Have to wonder where this leaves TT Games...Their value has likely plummeted now that they don't own exclusive license rights.

Does WB keep them on Lego stuff or move them onto IP they own, or do they just sell them but without the Lego license, I hate to say it, I can't imagine many would want to buy them and now Microsoft has Toys for Bob/Beenox and the ability to make whatever Lego titles they want if they wanted.

They are still worth going after if MS also gets their tech if they purchase them, the Star Wars game looks incredible. They can do something original under MS or even make Minecraft Spinoffs.

Maybe it is just because they have way more people playing on Steam, so they will start there. I would expect this to be integrated with Windows Store at some point but it must be low in their priorities :)

Good thing they are getting ride of this tho. I hate launchers on top of Steam or Windows Store, they are so annoying...

Well, there goes one of Xbox's 4 options to have a day one gamepass AAA in March to counter Sony releasing 2 AAA exclusives in March, GT7 and Ghostwire Tokyo. All that remains now are WWE 2K22, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Would love it if Xbox went all out and got both Wonderlands for the western game fans and Stranger of Paradise for the JP fans.

I don’t see Take-Two releasing Wonderlands on GP day 1, Strangers of Paradise would make sense but they have some sort of deal with Sony since they got exclusive demo.

Square Enix is looking grim, TWEWY and Guardians of the Galaxy both failed to meet sales expectations and I can see Babylons Fall, Forspoken and Star Ocean bombing. Strangers of Paradise won’t likely be a massive sales hit either.

Capcom Fighting Collection Throws Down with a 10-Game Anthology

Here comes a new challenger! It’s time to throw hands, drop gems, cast spells, and crush ‘bots! Capcom Fighting Collection on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S features 10 iconic titles, including two Darkstalkers games never before released in North America! Take on all challengers in online play with rollback netcode for all ten games, and enjoy additional features including a gallery of official art, a music player with hundreds of tracks, and more.

With online play and rollback netcode to ensure a smooth online experience, you can become a World Warrior or a world-wide Vampire Hunter in Ranked, Casual, and Custom online matches across all ten games included in this collection:

  • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
    Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire

Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge (Japanese version, first official release in North America)
Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire (Japanese version, first official release in North America)
Red Earth (First release outside of arcades)
    Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
    Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
    Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
    Hyper Street Fighter II

Show the whole world who the real boss is in Hyper Street Fighter II, pilot your Valiant Armor to victory in Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, or crash (gem) your way to victory in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo! Balancing a quarter on your TV to say you’ve got next is optional.

A training mode is also included for nearly every game (with the exception of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo). Sink your claws into a training dummy for practice before going on the prowl in Darkstalkers, or find the perfect combo to dismantle your opponents in Cyberbots. Additional accessibility and quality of life changes are also included for photosensitivity, easy access to hidden characters without needing to enter secret codes, and some small balance changes for certain games.

For those looking for a solo experience, you can enjoy arcade-style gameplay, too. Play through at your own pace to discover character stories, or power up your character as you defeat foes in the RPG-like Red Earth, previously only available in arcades and making its console and PC debut. Maybe you’re looking for something a little less serious? The over-the-top Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix features chibi-style characters that improve their special moves by collecting gems that go flying around the arena with each hit!

A treasure trove of art and music is also included, featuring official art, concept art, design documents, and more than 400 music tracks, all available in this excellent collection that makes it a must-have for any fan of Capcom fighters.

For veterans and new challengers alike, you’ll be able to enjoy all 10 games included in Capcom Fighting Collection when it comes to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on June 24, 2022! A digital bundle including Capcom Fighting Collection and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will also be available at launch for $59.99.

The delay conveniently coincides with Sony losing their marketing agreement right?

2022 CoD - Sony marketing.
2023 CoD - Sony but delayed to 2024 when the marketing agreement ends.

Can't help but think Xbox influenced this decision, at the very least, Bobby doesn't give a damn about 23 financials when they're selling up, Lol.

Good news for the developers though.

Wait, so the Sony marketing deal is based by years and not by a specific number of CoD releases?

Now that I think about it though, there's no reason to think Sony wouldn't have assumed both were in one in the same considering there's been a new CoD every year since '05 lol
