Not even gamepass can save this game

Sucks that it is so late in the year though, Xbox has a major first 3 quarters issue while Q4 is jam packed. They really need to get some good day one gamepass deals going for February-September. |
I’m praying that this game isn’t trash it looks so good, the English voice acting is meh though.

Reads to me like a deal which agrees CoD will release on Playstation. There's zero chance they continue to get exclusive content and a marketing deal wouldn't make sense because CoD will 100% launch into Game Pass. |
In my opinion not even Xbox should have any exclusive content, let alone Playstation, on multiplatform game. If people pay the same money to play on Playstation, as a customer they should be treated with the same respect as people on Xbox and vice versa.

Totally agree
Microsoft doesn’t need Japanese console sales to get Japanese developer support. They just have to keep increasing global market share, which they are currently doing. Japanese games that years ago wouldn’t have are now getting PC releases, and it’s not because PC gaming has taken over the Japanese market.
If you build a big platform, developers will come to it. It’s just that simple. And so far, they are achieving that with the Series X|S.
One thing of note from yesterday’s news is that Microsoft’s president would not commit to the entire ABK library being multi platform, just call of duty and unspecified “other popular titles”.
When you look at Sony’s strategy with bungie, I think a clear new playing field is emerging for the console landscape. Games with a heavy multiplayer and/or service component are going multiplatform, while the single player oriented games are held in reserve to be system sellers.
I would not be surprised if the free to play component of Halo infinite ends up on PlayStation one day, and I would not be surprised if a game like factions ends up on Xbox one day. I think all of these companies now realize that in order to make the economics of live service games feasible, you can’t leave any players on the table
Should probably give Grounded another go. There's plenty to like about the game but for some reason it has been hard to get into. Seems to kick off too slowly or something.
10 million players is pretty good!

You probably reeeeeeally need to be into Survival games to get the full enjoyment of the experience. But it seems like Obsidian is also wanting to add in more RPG mechanics to reach a broader audience. Which I'm excited for.

What was the last player count given?
shikamaru317 said: Well, not only did Xbox lose their timed exclusivity on Hello Neighbor 2, but now Sony has a timed exclusive beta, smh. Not that I'm particularly interested in the game personally, the first was quite meh, but it's pretty embarrassing to both lose timed exclusivity and let your chief competitor get a timed exclusive beta. |
Microsoft’s relationships with some indie developers is really suspect imo.
