I actually thought this too, thought the 9th gen would be Xbox's last console. Clearly I was wrong on that front, as it seems like MS is digging in for the long haul. I guess that just goes to show how bad the Xbox One years were.

Which is so weird considering how great the OG Xbox and 360 days were.

Never really thought Microsoft would leave console business. Xbox is too strong of a brand. Yes there was a brief period of uncertainty but Phil quickly made it clear he means business and is building something bigger. This big? Didn't see it coming lol. 

So many L's taken around the forum regarding Phil & future of Xbox by many users.. and some are still asking for more! Xbox haz tumeni gaemz, Microsoft only cares about mobile and stuff like that.

If it's a Gears of War Collection I wonder how they'd handle the multiplayer. Is there enough players to support every mp like MCC does? GoW3 was the most popular one so maybe go with it and add maps from every game? It did have its issues though. 

From Judgment add only Overrun. Traditional versus would be waste of time. Ironically it was, in many ways, the most balanced and well-functioning Gears mp. It just was too different and played more like Halo that Gears.. if it was another IP it would've been great.

Even if a collection doesn't happen, every Gears game on Series X is boosted to 60fps including Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Those are well worth playing.

Judgements multiplayer is a lot more casual friendly than traditional Gears MP especially the way Deathmatch is. Idk why the Coalition won’t touch Overrun at all, that game mode has insane potential even for ESports.

Gears makes sense. It’s one of MS pillar franchises and we probably won’t see Gears 6 for a couple years so it makes sense to give Gears fans their Gears fix.
