Not a single leaker has heard something about JP exclusives though, with the exception being the Kojima project, which seems designed to push xCloud adoption rather than Xbox console sales in Japan. And the Kojima still hasn't been greenlit last we heard, they are still in negotiations. They needed JP exclusives from 2nd party or 3rd party early gen, and we're just not getting any. And we've heard nothing at all about AAA singleplayer games from XGP, all 3 of the AAA from them that we know of are co-op/multiplayer.

I kind of miss Shannon's reign as head of XGP, we were getting some great games back in those days in spite of her division lacking in budget at the time. I especially liked ReCore, which she was 100% responsible for. Notice as soon as she was replaced, we never got the sequel to ReCore that we deserved. 

Not sure why thats important if some leaker has or has not heard anything.  Its like if a leaker doesn't say it, it doesn't exist where we have seen multiple times them getting things wrong.  Each time there is some new rumor going on and you guys start to go nuts with speculation.  Its like you cannot just be surprised about a project.  Oh well, I rarely care concerning these rumors, when the game comes it comes, I am in no hurry to play anything.

Of all the Japanese games that would come to Xbox.. had to be trash like Star Ocean lol. Hated the one on PS4, fell asleep playing 4... Do I even dare give this one a shot?

Here lately Xbox has been leaking like a sieve. If no leakers have heard of it, it probably doesn't exist unfortunately. 

You had not heard of this game until today, does that mean that it didn't exist until today?

Star Ocean lookin so bad Sony passed up trying to get a timed/full exclusive on it, oof. Still surprised it's coming to xbox

Yeah it looks super dated, but I do have a soft spot for Star Ocean despite the games being less than stellar. Tri-Ace is actually a dev I would love for MS to buy so they can escape the obvious low budgets they've been given.

This sucks , a western developer making a japanese game , they don't understand the japanese culture to pull this off and I think Microsoft is trying so hard to convince the masses this is Japanese game , they ain't fooling no one but themselfs. RIP , It's like Avatar the Last air bender for America but the Japanese public wont put Avatar in their top 20 list.

Sucker Punch did a great job of making a Japanese game as a western developer.  I guess it really depends on execution.  I would probably wait until you actually can see what they are doing first before rushing to judgement.

I wonder if MS has been holding back shipments for the holiday push or they are burning through ever Series X they can make.  Series S is in supply so I doubt they would sandbag that piece of hardware.  What would be the strategic nature of such a move.
