I don't see what grounds they could have not to approve a deal between MS and Take-Two. Even if MS bought them there's no monopoly grounds, no anti competition, no anything for them to decline it. I don't think Paradox or Focus Entertainment would warrant the response those insiders are claiming, so if there is something either they're overhyping it or it's as big as they say which would rule those two out imo.

The rumors at least got us discussing something, but yep most people here don't buy into them.  They did deliver with the Zenimax acquisition. You're right with the  messaging constantly being flubbed.  

I normally can't resist grabbing certain numbered posts, but I let that one go. 

Yeah, I'm not saying I believe these rumors or anything. Figured I'd just engage with the hypotheticals even if the rumors have no basis. Like I said before, I'm completely satisfied with the current stable of developers MS has.

I'm satisfied too. If they were to acquire someone else, awesome. More gamepass content for me.

There can be no reasonable discussion to be had around monopoly and MS in the industry surely... Not with what TenCent and embracer have been up to the last few years.

Sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is always rough, cus they're basically family, especially when you've had them for that long. I still remember when my first dog had to be put down, and I couldn't even be there and say goodbye or anything at the time because I was out of town. That shit tore me up.

Obviously everyone's got their own grieving process and everything, but I really wouldn't recommend shutting yourself off from others, or from whatever routines you have for too long. At a certain point, you're just going to be reinforcing whatever sadness or depression you're feeling right now. You can't get out of a negative space if you don't give your mind encouragement to shift it's focus elsewhere.

Anyone here experiencing hand discomfort with the Series X/S controllers?

I've been using mine since launch and have no problems for short gaming sessions but when I get into the 2-5 hour ranges I start to hurt. I have not experienced this with other controllers, I'm thinking about using Xbox One controllers on the series X, but I like the snappy response of the series x controller. I thought it was something I would adjust to but that is not happening. I'm mostly relaxed through most of my gaming sessions but with Battlefield and Halo on the way I usually tend to be hyper-focused with those and would imagine my pain to kick in earlier with those.

I know the Xbox One controllers were going to receive a firmware update, but I don't know if it would put them on a par performance wise as the Series controllers.

Can't say I have, no. Kind of hard to imagine what might be causing your discomfort, considering the controllers are nigh identical in build, and the way they sit in your hands.
