Matches with what Jez said about holding some games back for August, please don't hold back Fable..

Hold back acquisitions, Game Pass, xcloud, price and release date. But show ALL the games

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Agreed, I really don't want them holding back game announcements just for a few months, seems pointless to me.

This game of chicken between Sony/Microsoft is getting annoying too.

If they dont hold back some games people are gonna call the XO20 show boring and lacking new games.

So many acquisitions....I wonder if there’s a ceiling to their limit. All these polish and European teams, Warner Bro’s and that lingering hope they will make a dedicated Japanese studio. It could get too bloated too quick with payroll getting out of control.

I do think if Microsoft acquires WB Gaming then they'll likely abandon all other acquisitions and we won't see anymore for a LONG time, easily years, so we better hope that Japanese studio is already locked.

We'd be going from 15 studios to 26, there's no way they'd look for more for a very long time, they'd be too much work to do integrating those new 11 studios into Xbox (though likely some will get closed/sold off).

I'd happily take the WB studios over some nondescript Japanese studio.

That would be 6 AAA studios if MS gets them, the mobile division will either be reformed to make smaller titles or cut all together.

The reason that Japanese exclusives are needed is not so much because of Japan itself, but because there are a great many western fans of Japanese games who are more likely to go Playstation over Xbox. They need Japanese exclusives who will make those gamers think twice about choosing Playstation over Xbox.

One studio releasing the odd Japanese game isn't going to make any dents in the perception that Xbox doesn't have the games to cater to that fanbase. Not unless that studio is putting out like absolute top tier content.

I agree, but one or two first party JP studios like for instance Swery's White Owl's and Futatsugi's Grounding Inc., plus some JP 2nd party deals through Xbox Global Publishing should be enough to do the trick, and win over a decent chunk of the western JP games fanbase.

They could make even more ground if they acquired one of the smaller JP publishers like Sega or Koei Tecmo, but I doubt MS will go that far. I do hope they at least give us 1 JP 1st party studio and some JP 2nd party games at least.

Yeah I'd like one Japanese studio. I doubt it will happen, but I can hope. The biggest thing for me is just getting 3rd party support. Keep on getting FF, Tales of, Yakuza (great job xbox), and FFS even Persona. There's no denying the accolades it has. Atlus is weird though.

Warner Bros would be crazy.... I'd rather MS than EA, Take Two, and Activision.

Sell em to Netease.

One of the studios is a support studio, I'd re-purpose them to make their own games, otherwise they'd probably go too, Microsoft doesn't use internal support studios, perhaps see if they want to work on FEAR IP.

Just read that they bought WB Boston for 160 million in  2010 just to turn them into a mobile developer yikes. I honestly wouldn’t care if MS sold off TT Games to another publisher since all they do is make LEGO games and that would require MS to buy licenses to continue that.
