If they used VGC numbers I hope they didn’t copy the 104M PS1 number...

We recently fixed that number. We had to get Trucks to fix it by going into the code for the site. Myself and Machina weren't able to update it.

Doh! There goes my previous post. Nice to know it's been updated with the correct number.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Sony deserves the success. Solid hardware (For the most part) with games that resonate with it's customer base.

I thought this was the case back around 2004 or so?

Yeah, I think they only just created the record category or whatever for it. But this has been the case for quite some time.

PS1+PS2 = 260m
NES+SNES+N64+GC = 166m

PS1+PS2+PS3=347m
NES+SNES+N64+GC+Wii = 268m

Crazy to think of it that way. They have certainly had some impressive libraries, as well.

All that with a single LoD game.
Imagine with a franchise...

How would you explain PS2 doing 50% above without having a single LoD? More people bought because they thought it would have more LoD?

I know I was excited to have PS2 and confused with why there was another system to be launched (I was 15 at the time) for the second part of Soul Reaver (It didn't only ended saying there was a sequel, it also said it would release on PS2).

Ppl should really stop using that tabloid kniwn as pushsquare.

Anyhow, vgc data most likely backed up official Sony numbers, and the latter most likely cant be the source for the data because of a conflict of interest.

If they are using the numbers on the books that are released and audited then conflict of interest can't really be used because those numbers can't really be faked the loss and risk is much beyond anything won by a Guinness stamp.

We have to include Switch, in particular now that we have the switchless Switch Lite.

Nintendo is still boss, even though they rebranded their mobile devices multiple times.
