Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I had to suppress my inner Sony fanboy... but I bought an Xbox One S with SW Jedi - Game pass is just too good a deal to pass up. Never thought I'd be an Xbox owner tbh!

Ryzen 5 2400G (3 months free Game Pass) + full PC parts. Saved over $200, bringing the total to just shy of $500 CDN. Need to see what next gen brings before I decide to leave it as is and stick with consoles only, or upgrade to a Ryzen 7 and dedicated GPU.

XB1S would've been cheaper, but need a new PC anyway.

Yeah, a handful of PS4 games and a new PS4 controller.

Pretty good scores for me this year -

Best Buy:

Starlink (Switch - w/Star Fox & other figures & ship) - $10 *DEFINITELY the best deal I snagged!
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night (Switch) - $20
Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair (Switch) - $20
Mario + Rabbids - $15
Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune (Switch) (for my mom :P) - $15

Amazon:

Overwatch (Switch) - $25
Assassin's Creed Odyssey (XB One) - $15
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy (Switch) - $15
PowerA Switch Zelda Wired Controller - $15

Also had like $15 Amazon credit for rejoining Audible as part of some deal so in total - less than $140 for 8 physical games + a controller.. Not bad!

That said I'm probably done shopping until after x-mas unless I can find Monkey Ball Switch for cheap (would like to have it as a fun game option to play with all my cousins at x-mas).
