Ah perfect! This is what I was trying to get to the bottom of. So effectively a lot of the stuff from GTS and Wonder Trade is still in the game, just going by a new name. Thanks!

They never mentioned anything about a GTS replacement.
Online trade from friend codes/in-game codes will certainly be there, tho, there is no way this is an offline game.

Theres Link trading tho (instead of GTS), dont know how it exactly works since neither Nintendo Insider, IGN or Serebii know either.

They actually have apparently. This has been up on their site for a while. I just don't think they did a good job of it as I hadn't heard of it either until Jpcc86 mentioned it to me.

I'm not entirely sure if it'll work exactly like GTS and provide that granularity in search, but it's something. I am looking for more details on how it works. And at least Wonder Trade is still there. That was honestly a bigger deal for me as I love breeding up a bunch of high IV Pokemon and sending them out in the world.

Link trade sounds very straight foward, you link to a friend and trade with him. We also had that before, it even uses the same symbol.
