I want to get a bit ahead prior to the weekend so here are some more hints. 

Hint #46 -

I think I remember the sayings about Magic Carpet back in the day, that you need a high end computer to play it. Never played it myself though (I didn't have a high end computer).

Yeah, it needed a 486 DX2/66 for maximum performance back in 1994. That's akin to using 16 threads these days and having slowdowns if you have less threads. It was one of my hints for the game.

Next and final hint would have been to bombard monsters and enemy wizards with fireballs, crush them with meteors, raise volcanoes under teir feet and castles, or create a crater under them to make them crash down.

And while I actually was looking for Magic Carpet 2, both are so similar that I accepted the name of the first one, too.

#45: Pretty much a ripoff of the first Metroid

Hint #1: Released on a computer first, but that's not the PC, which actually never got an official version of the game
Hint #2: Originally came out on the C64 in 1990 with a legendary soundtrack by Chris Hülsbeck

No, but that's a good guess. This hint is intentionally opaque. Gravity Rush describes the flow of gameplay in this title...
