Playstation put up a cryptic pic of a controller on IG. Looks different than a DS4, possibly a glimpse of DS5??

No. It's the Vantage 2 from Scuf Gaming.

Oh.

Around the Network

Another generation another controller with new gimmicks that will age terribly, why do they have the need to come up with useless features, we just need a comfortable controller with a good battery life, somehow companies have a media pressure to come up with the next big thing, but at the end of the day we end up playing games the same we always did, except for very and motion party games.

Good. The PS4 controller is the first Sony controller I’ve truly enjoyed, so I hope the next controller is just the same thing cosmetically, just with the new features.

Worst of all the default brightness setting is like super bright!  It was so annoying to have to turn down the brightness of the light bar every time.

I dimmed the brightness of the light bar once. I think it stayed dimmed the whole time since. What do you mean by "every time"? Did it get bright again?

So i went and double checked my controllers.  Seems like the first player controller stayed at the dimmed, but when I add additional controllers the light was always bright.  So i dimmed my 2nd, 3rd and 4th controller and then turned them off, and when I turned them back on they were back on the bright setting. Like it only remembers controller setting for player 1?  Or am i the only one having this problem?

I put tape over the stupid lightbar.
