I don't expect Nintendo to match everything the ps4 is getting next year, I meant it may have one top tier game that contends for GotY. Meaning I wasn't saying ps4 vs Switch, but rather TLoU2 vs Nintendo title. 

The ps4 has been slow this year. But again, that isn't a jab. Last year was crazy great, and next year looks really good too. Every console has meh years. This year is meh for Sony. I thought last year was meh for Nintendo.  Just not much on the radar for me in 2019 for the ps4.  It doesn't help the Switch has been killer this year.    

TLoU2, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghosts of Tsushima, FF7 Remake, my ranking for 2020

Played half of FF7 but never finished it. Great game but my save got destroyed. I didn't even rank Nioh 2. I tried going back to Nioh after playing Shadows die twice and the game play feels silly now. I can't take the game seriously anymore. Didn't see anything in Nioh 2 that would change that.

Whats switch had that released in 2019 so far (exclusives)?

Yeah not the "best" year, but its still keeping up with the Switch, once you factor in 3rd party games, not comeing to switch imo.
(granted I liked kingdom Hearts, and enjoy the Trails of Cold Steel games, and would rather play those than say Astral Chains or Daemon x Machina)

A matter of personal tastes.  I find that entire ps4 list to be awful.  On the flip side Astral, Luigi, Link's, Fire Emblem and Pokemon are all on my list.  Last for the ps4 I was happy with God of War and Spiderman.  Both were superb.  And if we are going to count third party, add Ori and Dragon Quest Definitive to the list.  

I ll give you Ori, since thats on Switch and not on PS4.
Dragon Quest XI  looks and runs better on the PS4..... its like 99% the same game (that one's a wash, since its on both).

Yeah tastes probably does factor into it.

A lot of it for me is having younger kids at home.  So anything kid friendly is just a better option, because I can play it with (and in front of the kids) and having younger kids has me in a space of preferring more light hearted games.  Having said that, Ghost looks amazing for the ps4.  I am beyond excited on that one.   

I have young kids, but I don't let their taste dictate my enjoyment. I have stuff to enjoy with them, but I won't miss games I like because of it. Also not a good reason to call it mehh.

Yeah, cause that is what I said.  Lol.

2020 is a dream. And dont forget JRPG-Masterpiece Persona 5 The Royal, its coming in the first 2020-quarter too. And the Yakuza-Collection for me ^^ But The Last of Us 2 is 100 % the biggest game (with Ghost of Tsushima) in my personally opinion :)

ps. TLOU2 is on amazonUSA very strong. What are your forecests for the first week(worldwide sales figures), guys ?
