These screenshots was taken off screen so they won't be of the highest quality. They're pre rendered CGI showing off the upper plates of Midgar during daytime which is something we didn't get to experience in the original game.  (Kind of looks like New York City, I wonder if there is Detective Joe)

That first screenshot almost looks more like a poorly-lit real life picture than a game, lol.

Not a fan of the art style. I also worry there is going to be too much tedious walking around. I'm still not sure how Midgar is 40 hours.

This feels like modern day gaming in a nut shell honestly. Size over quality. 

Agreed absolutely 100%. Modern games have far too much filler crap.

I like how Midgar is looking. I hope the gameplay holds up as well.

Don't worry, there is cars, bikes, trains, airships, submarines, chocobo for fast transport. etc.

I like it a lot. I expected a modern, more detailed city and thats what we're getting.
