Forums - Sports - The NFL Thread 2019: The Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl LIV

Who do you believe will have a stronger defense in 2020?

Patriots 2 66.67%

Steelers 1 33.33%

Total:3

I wonder what the standings are now in prediction league. It's a close race to finish. Decent amount of upsets this year so highs seem to be in mid 60 percent correct predictions.

Week 16 picks. Three games between teams that are 1 and 2 in their division and within a game of each other. Unfortunately, only the NFC East game is particularly likely to decide the division, as the team with the better record in both other cases would win a tiebreaker even if they lose this week, and has a cupcake opponent next week.

The Buccaneers could have easily won half the games they lost and be 11-4 if Jameis Winston didn't have almost as many interceptions as TD passes.

Snoopy on suicide watch. Again.

If the 49ers hadn’t shit the bed last week in the 4th quarter against the Falcons, they’d have already clinched the #1 seed. 😤

LOL one more time at Pro Football Focus what a joke of a website for having Amari Cooper rate at the best wide receiver in the NFL. Not only was Michael Thomas easily the best wide receiver in the NFL all season he broke Marvin Harrison's record for most receptions in a season in only 15 games and by catching passes from three different quaterbacks during the season.

...what rankings are you looking at? PFF had Thomas as #1 in their midseason rankings and Chris Godwin at #1 in their Week 5 rankings. I'm not seeing anything more recent than that.

Not sure when it exactly was but Skip Bayless brought it up some weeks ago on Undisputed.  Chis Godwin being at #1 is just as laughable as Amari Cooper being ranked #1.

Please never listen to anything Skip Bayless says.

Also, yes, it would be silly to rank Chris Godwin as #1 now. At the midpoint of the season, that wasn't an especially ridiculous concept, though. He had more yards than Thomas, was far ahead in yard per reception and target, and very close to Thomas in yards per route. Of course, things changed as the season went on. Godwin got bogged down for a bit in the midseason and Thomas went off. But you can't fault week 5 rankings for not knowing what was coming. It'd be like arguing that Week 5 power rankings from earlier this year were laughable for having the Patriots at #1 instead of the Ravens because of how those two teams have played since.
