It's a touchy subject like religion that often gets placed in the same forum.  

This is exactly the point of this thread.  The terrible lack of closed quotation marks and odd spacing makes the OP seem like the writer of the initial paragraph, but they have just posted all of the info and followed it up with: thoughts?

They do it in America with Spanish. An insane amount of people here speak Spanish, myself included, and it seems that the overwhelming majority of people that do it are non-Spanish speakers...
