Well I guess, there are a lot of review sites that are waiting for the MTX store to launch before they post their reviews.

I watched Yongyea's video, and I think I'll just wait to see how the store turns out. I don't need Shao Khan. I've yet to play MKX so I might just pick up the GotY version of that instead.

Destructoid didn't like the game either. That sinks it for me. I'll pass on this for now. Glad I cancelled my pre-order. 

Nah, Smash Ultimate isn't grindy. I just did the story mode and got everything naturally. 

MKX actually had fatalities as DLC.

Personally, I don't care. I bought standard edition now, eventually I can get the complete package for a low price.

I did that with MKX, Injustice 2 and I'll do that with that game as well. For now though, I'm content with the game as is.

They still show skin and some of their costumes aren't fully covered up. I mean yes their balloon boobs are non existent and not in your face as it use too but they aren't completely fully clothed. Sonya still has her crop tops, the majority of them still have boob windows, and some still show thighs.

Its like we read 2 different reviews. A top tier fighthing game that could on the be the best in the series. Thats in the last 2 paragraphs.  The man clearly likes the game.

Nearly 30 years later, Mortal Kombat still deserves to hang in the top-tier of fighting games. With improved visuals, overhauled mechanics and exciting strategic potential, MK 11 offers a brilliant fighting experience. Unfortunately, the overall fun is bogged down with miserable modern-day business practices that frequently pump the brakes on your enjoyment. The Fight is the thing, however, and as long as the fists are flying, then Mortal Kombat 11 packs a helluva punch.

He's basically saying that the game is like a delicious pizza, that has been ruined with rotten mayonnaise thrown on top . He scored it a 7. 

How grindy is it... compared to MK9?

Maybe its just me but I probably care as little as possible about how much cloths the developers want to put on the women or not.  Instead, is the fighting engine good.  Does it play well and fun.  Is the single player also fun to play.  Probably about the last thing I care about is how much skin I see on digital characters.  From watching enough streams, the game gives ample amount of costumes and a lot of them look great.  The game in general looks like it contains a lot of content for the people who enjoy single player and the Multiplayer is tight and responsive.  Not sure as a fighter what isn't good about this addition.

Just as grindy but guess what.  You can create an AI character set it to play an endless tower and let it grind for you for all those cosmetic items if you really do not want to play the single player and tower stuff.  Its the same thing you could do in InJustice 2 if you wanted to skip that part of the game.
