Groundhog Day...

The Mainstream media and some Dems are starting to blame the left of the party for losses of a Corp Dem in Virginia

Easier than any self reflection on failed promises of hugely popular polices like M4A, Drug prices, etc.. If Dems analyse their losses and errors incorrectly they will continue to fail in the public eye

Because it is the progressives fault.

Liberals are too extreme and it is going to kill their election probability. IMHO, it is that simple.

Well, we all know who the American extremists are. Are Yall'Qaeda now considered the Liberals of the US?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Major difference.  The average conservative voter is accepting of extreme on the right.  The average liberal isn't accepting of extremists.

Not sure if that makes sense.  If the Liberals are already extreme would they not already accept extremists.

Middle of the road liberals will not vote for an extreme liberal agenda, which is what we have today.  They end up voting third party.  Middle of the roads conservatives are much more loyal and will vote conservative regardless of the level of extremism.

Time will tell if I am correct, but I believe I am.  And I believe in the mid terms we will see liberals get slaughtered in the booths.

I have no clue what is a middle of a road Liberal is.  Maybe the word liberal is not the correct term.  If you say Dem, then that is a little more defining since you can say left, middle and right Dems.  Usually the liberal term is used for the left.

I agree that most conservatives will vote GOP no matter how right the party goes which I agree is their strength.  You can bring up a lot of polices conservatives would agree that is good even if they come from a liberal candidate but when asked if they would vote for that candidate well that is something totally different.

I have had this conversation with many conservative friends I have.  They all would love for Medicare for All as long as they have a choice, paid family leave etc but the if you ask them in order to get those items would they vote for Bernie Sanders, Biden or any Dem, well that is where they draw the line.  Just because a particular piece of policy is popular doesn't mean people are willing to change their allegiance for it.

In essence that is what I am saying.  Conservatives don't have to work to get their voters...  Democrats do.

Conservatives actually do need to work to get their vote, they just found something that resonate way better than what Liberals are pushing.  Conservatives will push the culture war, its us against them.  Its patriot's and national pride then all those gay rights and racist rhetoric.  Oh the conservatives are actually working very hard, they are just playing a different game.
