Tapes are pretty bad. Time to throw the towel in. Apparently some still want to go down with the ship.

I mean... we also have tapes of him saying that he likes to grab women by the pussy, and trying to bribe the Ukranian government to attack his political rival. Why is this tape gonna be the one to do it?

After he steps down from presidency he could be charged with state and federal election laws.  He is enjoying not being prosecuted right now but he loses that immunity Jan. 20.   He was demanding to add enough votes where he would win Georgia by a vote.  Not asking for a recount which they have done two and Gov certified the votes but blatantly stating the exact number of votes needed to be given to him seems like election interference by the President to me.

At this point he is doing everything to stay President because he knows the NY DA is about to put a lot of lawsuits on him.  So willing to stay President that he is willing to commit further crimes.

It will not.  Having a lot of Trump followers on my feed shows that they just ignore what he has said or just find a way to explain it away as nothing.  They say its the way he talks and that nothing is wrong with those statements.  Hell, I have seen them even praising what Lin Wood tweeted which was about as bonkers as it can get but somehow he is speaking the truth.  This is why we are where we are at and this is why the Reps are willing to go that extra length on Jan 6th because they want that Trump money and they want his followers.  In reality probably most people in politics are more like Trump then the video posted in this thread.  The only difference is that those people have probably way more political experience but Trump is catching up.

I believe that as long as the action was taken while he was president in his capacity as president, then the normal rules for immunity apply. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll have immunity (you can definitely argue this wasn't part of his duties as president), but I don't think whether or not he is still in office is relevant to the decision.

And yet the Georgia elections are gonna be close. Close enough for the Republicans to win. Nothing means anything anymore.

Now he is delving into fraudulently rigging the election in his favor. - He is the comedy act that just keeps on giving.

So today is this the day we get to see who controls the Senate, should be interesting to see how votes turn out. If the Republicans lose, I wonder if Trump will be blamed for this lost. If they win, vice versa. The aftermath should give us a perspective on how the next 4 years are going to develop. I am sure if McConnell stays in power he will try his best to make sure Biden is a one term president.

I'll give you one guess what is going to be blamed if they lose.

Hint: Starts with "V" and ends with "oter fraud"

Seems that turnout is lower in a lot of places that expected on the election day. Which seems like it would favor the democrats who banked a lot of votes through early voting which was very high.
