Pence didn't kill Trumps chances, so I'd say Biden is fine.

Pence is a safe bet that didn't drag Trump down, unlike Harris who has a controversial track record.

In hindsight, Pence likely solidified Trump's evangelical vote.  It was actually a decent play of 'extirpating The President's past sins' by having his co-pilot be a wannabe preacher.

Exactly.

And Harris should do the same for many women and black voters. So, like I said, not much to worry here.

So....... I was trying to listen to a recent Trump press briefing, and it was.......... interesting?

But it basically came off like this:

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

https://ballotpedia.org/South_Carolina_House_of_Representatives_District_115

In yesterday's special election to replace a retiring Republican in SC's 115th state House district, the Democrat won 59-39. For context, the Republican won 68-32 in 2012, was not challenged in 2014-2016, and won 51.4-48.5 in 2018. Trump carried the district 47.55-44.68 (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1frfN-xEqzSd4X6nih2tSxCgqxZBRoHgHbCrGdDWCroM/htmlview

Turnout was about half that of 2012, and a third of 2018's.

I dont think there will be any impact. BLM and Antifa will just ignore it, just as they ignored a lot of stuff related to Biden. The point is to get the republican out of power no matter what. He should have chose Hillary or AOC, it would be much more entertaining.

Hillary couldn't beat Trump 4 years ago.  AOC isn't old enough, and I don't think she has many votes for people older than 50, so I think it will be a while before AOC could break through.  By the time AOC would actually have enough votes to win, we may have already passed the point of no return to implement a green new deal.

Hillary lost already against Trump and is hugely unpopular, while AOC is inelligible due to age (which is a stupidity in itself, in any other country, the age limit is generally 21 or even just 18).

Katie Porter would have been hugely entertaining, as she would have ripped Pence to shreds with her questioning style, and Trump along the way, too.

Love watching Katie Porter and AOC in hearings; they're so sharp and cut right through the BS.

"Friday’s ruling in Hopkins v. Jegley greenlights four Arkansas regulations passed in 2017. The first of these laws requires clinics to report the names of abortion patients under 18 to local law enforcement. These clinics must then preserve the fetal tissue and treat it like criminal evidence. The second law forces abortion providers to spend “reasonable time and effort” acquiring a patient’s medical records for her “entire pregnancy history” before performing the abortion. The third law grants equal rights over fetal remains to both partners, with no exception in cases of rape. A patient must notify her partner before the abortion and ask which method of disposal he prefers. If both partners are minors, the patient’s parents get to decide how fetal remains are disposed of. If the patient is a minor but her partner is an adult, then he—not the patient—makes the choice. These rules effectively prohibit medication abortion, which occurs at home, where the provider cannot control the disposal of fetal remains. The fourth and final law bans the safest and most common procedure for second-trimester abortions."

Jesus Fucking Christ. The cruelty is not a bug; it's a feature.

Seriously, Arkansas?
