Obama protected his legacy at all costs. Obama didn't want Sanders policies and efforts to over shadow his very compromised legacy that so many in the Establishment blindly praise, Sanders would have made him look compromised and weak if he had become President due to Sanders much stronger policies on pretty much everything, in the end Obama duped the people from having a better future so he could look good historically instead of a compromised President that he really is, he is a silver-tongued fraud to many of us

Sanders didn't make the case for his presidency to the Democratic electorate well enough. I know there were a LOT of hurdles but at the end of the day it falls on him.
