 Very true, however, the higher the %, the higher the first day of pre-orders were. @781000%, a high number were sold when that image was taken.

 It will be pretty exciting to see its launch numbers.

All you people are taking this a little to seriously. You act like Soriku committed a crime. what will you all say if ioi's thing with amazon works out and he does poll those numbers?

Now that percentage is bogus but they use the same system on everything at amazon and if its big relative to others things there and past events, then it is an indicator that a lot of people ordered it, or at least it was popular for that day.

I wonder why you would put the word "game" in quotation marks?

I wonder if sales is the argument you want to take on, when confronting the Wii with the PS3 or 360?

I fully expect Wii Fit to have legs much longer than GTA IV and potentially pass the individual sales for the game on either system.

In other words, the 360 version of GTA IV, I predict, will be passed by sales of Wii-Fit in under 3 years.

It's fairly exhilerating to know you have to combine the sales of the biggest game for the Wii's two rival systems, to be confident enough to compare it to the next Nintendo game being released, which happens to cost 90 dollars.

When is the PS3 or 360s next 5 minute segment on Good Morning America? Tell me so I can tune in. 

I don't think it works that way. There may have been a reset when the unit was officially priced. These percentages are mostly gibberish. I trust them about as much as the groundhog for predicting weather. All you can really say is there was an increase orders, nothing more. 

Fishy, your absolutely correct. The Amazon numbers mean nothing.

However, it certainly doesn't disprove that WiiFit will sell like hotcakes.

I think the most interesting thing about this, is it seems to be a response from the segment on the hugely popular Good Morning America(which is nationally syndicated on television and radio), who raved over the product.

I wish the price hadn't been recently announced so we could see the actual effect of free mainstream press on an upcoming game release.

Either way, I feel fairly comfortably talking crap about Wii Fit sales, because I'd say its time to bet the farm that the game is gonna blow up.
