It's a long-standing misconception that it hurts consoles somehow to have it; quite otherwise, it does nothing at all to software or hardware sales at large. In fact, the most successful consoles ever have obscene levels of shovelware put onto them; just look at the PS2 library at large if you don't believe me. The only time shovelware is an authentic problem is when it's the only thing a system gets, and we all know that simply won't ever be the case with a Nintendo console. Anyway, I can't say I'm surprised at this. Good Morning America's a huge spot to get the thing promoted, and you can be sure it'll show up on Oprah some time between now and a few weeks after its launch, too. |
I watched it this morning, it only was on for like five minutes in total, and a ton of the time, the thing wasn't working right. I don't know how much of an impace itwill have. Also, they said that the Wii comes with it, and altogether it's 90 dollar, which we all know is incorrect. So I don't know how well that wen't over.

The Wii's current demographic leans quite heavily towards mainstream gamers, remember. The number of people that more core-focused games like No More Heroes appeals to is far more limited than the PS3 and 360 at the moment, as the upmarket migration hasn't begun in full swing. As ever, Nintendo leads the way for their own systems, and they're still in the transitional stage (though Brawl had a significant impact on it). Assuming they're willing to go to the trouble, Capcom and Ubisoft could set up a "second launch" for Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes in a year or so when the migration gets far enough.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

omg , a lot of games that havent been released yet are selling pretty well in Amazon.

Duh. And as far as I know, We Ski is the only Skiing game on the Wii... |
I own Winter Sports which has more than 1 skiing game. It is good causal stuff, too. The controls are better than Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, for example.

I just see the top 5 best seller videogames in Amazon and Wii Fit is first, Call of Duty 4(X360) is second, Mario Kart Wii is third, GTAIV(X360) fourth and the wii wheel is fifth.
