Dude its not 'pushing it' and its 2 years in march since release, but BotW was ready before than, they just needed it for switch release. If ubisoft can make the absolutely stella Black flag one year after AC3 and odeysey and Origins almost back to back both of which are highly praised then why us it pushing it for nintendo unless they have a problem getting software out? Oh wait that sounds familiar hello 2012,12,14,15,16 and 18. 2017 was a great year for Nintendo but 2018 was meh.

Back in those days Ubisoft typically had 3 different AC teams releasing in a rotation, much like the 3 Call of Duty studios (Treyarch, Sledgehammer, and Infinity Ward) do today. That way Ubisoft could release yearly AC games while each game still received 3 years of development. I can't see Nintendo doing the same and having 3 AAA 3D Zelda teams anytime soon, or even 2 AAA 3D Zelda teams anytime soon, because Nintendo doesn't want to oversaturate the market. We might get a new 2D Zelda soon, but I wouldn't expect the next 3D Zelda for at least a few more years if I were you.

Fine. Dont release Zelda bi-yearly but fuck me release some games pleeeease. If they dont want current 3rd party games being released because they release crap hardware specs then atleast start releasing games man. Why dont they branch out abit, create some more western studios like Ninja theory, what was it?? 13 blokes (and gals) to make hellblade in 2years for 10 million. Its acheivable, its being avhieved time and time again by western studios.

Nintendo works on several Zelda games in same time, for isntance they worked on Zelda ALBW, Zelda WW HD, Zelda MM, Zelda TP HD, Zelda BotW and even spinoffs like Triforce Heroes and Hyrule Warriors, in same time, difference is that now they will work on Zelda games just for one platform. Just for record, new 3D Zelda (same like new 3D Mario) are rumored for 2020. release, Zelda BotW was finish at end of 2016. so with 2020. release we talking about 3-4 years of development, and its expected that Nintendo will reuse engine and some assets from BotW and that will save quite of development time.

You do realize you're talking about assassin's Creed right? A series that includes classics like ac3 and unity. Zelda is way more comparable to rockstar series. Sony 1st parties are also pretty comparable, if we get horizon 2 before 2021 I'd be shocked

Zelda is in no way comparable to Rockstar games lol. Now dont get me wrong zelda is my favourite games series ever, but come on? Just the voice acting alone and the motion capture techniques would take ages to create. Not to mention the amount of actual pixels in something like RDR2 and graphical effects. The physics system was something else though in BotW i guess alot of their time was spent there, cos it certainly wasnt spend on story telling, cutscenes or voice acting that much is for certain.

I hope this is true. Or even make a brand new IP using BotW assets aswell and release a sequel and a brand new IP in a similar vain. Kinda like GTA and RDR or AC and WD. That would be decent.

Well, it would be weird if they don't make a Direct this month. Hopefully something good gets announced ""ehem Persona 5 ehem". By the way, will we get the last 3DS titles here, or will they announce them independently?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Zelda doesn't have cutscenes or graphics like rdr but rdr doesn't have physics or puzzles like Zelda

Well we had Aounuma saying that wants to make brand new IP "Thief" game, and even "Sheik" spin-off, so everything is possible.

If we haven't any kind of announcement until wednesday afternoon, it's not happening.
