So this means that we probably wont see a new 3D Rayman platformer :( But the Wii would be perfect for it :(

I wouldn't discount that.  I'd say it'd be logical for Ubisoft to make a Rayman 'spin-off' of Rabbids and a Rabbids 3 sans Rayman (2 was almost sans Rayman anyway).  Rayman would be a platformer and Rabbids maintains the mini-games.  But only time will tell.

I agree with Gamerace. We'll eventually see another 3D platformer and I think the Rabbids games have earned enough reputation via the Rabbids themselves to remove Rayman himself from the equation altogether.
