Mighty impressive!

MK8 is just amazing, I can see it doing 25M+ LT

This December was impressive, but December 2019 is going to be more impressive. Not only will they have a main Pokemon game for the holidays, but they will have strong sales for the whole 2019 year. In 2018, Switch was kind of disappointing for 9-10 months and then came back in the end to look impressive. In 2019, the whole year they will look impressive.

good for them

that counts both MK8 and MK8D combined if I'm correct

It does. Mat specified that in a tweet.
But that share of MK8 WiiU is probably less than 0.1%

The original statement is about lifetime sales in revenue, so the Wii U version contributes its fair share to the total. But Deluxe obviously accounts for the majority because Switch has sold much better than Wii U.

The split should be something like 65-75% for Deluxe and 25-35% for the Wii U version.

Piscatella's clarification most likely didn't answer regarding lifetime sales and was more of an answer to which version is recently pulling the weight, because NPD lists the game as "Mario Kart 8" in its charts. The guy who asked didn't specify what he was asking about.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I feel sorry for those records. Being broken must be very painful. Nintendo shouldn't have broken them.

Records are meant to be broken! Bravo Switch!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Switch has set itself well for 2019. Waiting to see what happens in the Direct. I feel that Switch will dominate the year now

There's a ND coming??

Yeah, 2019 is Switch's pretty much by default.

What direct are you referring to, if I may ask.
