Yea the Wii dropped off quite a bit in Japan at the end of it's 2nd year and beyond that. The Switch will easily leave it behind in the dust now and go for 20m+ in Jpn.

And still we mostly doubt that the Switch can reach 102M...I wonder if by exploiting the historic of the Wii, they can adjust the Switch campaign to fix some weak markets (Germany, UK), and reach at least the same level as Wii for Europe, since it seems that the Switch keeps beating the Wii in US, Japan and France the 3 biggest video games consumers in the world.

Japan has not really been a region for home consoles for a while now. They are buying the Switch because it is portable.  The Wii's sales in Japan were not nearly as impressive as they were for the rest of the world.
