America numbers seem way off.
All insiders are pointing to Switch doing over double PS4 in December but somehow it's only up ~10% during Smash week? Doesnt add up.

LOL, Smash-week and PS4 still, albeit marginally, sells more in Europe.
US numbers dont really make sense. We know that XBO did better than PS4 due to sales, and the Switch has absolutely skyrocketed, delivering one of the best Decembers of all time.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

The bulk of those december sales as will that of any holiday sales is not coming from smash being a sales driver but rather from the NS being a holiday gift item. Especially for kids, even if that gift is bought along with smash.
I expect to see this reflected next week and the week after that where NS will have around double the sales of everything else.
great sales for switch, but ps4 did well too
Numbers are probably a bit off, but still great nonetheless. Smash is the most important exclusive since BoTW

PS4 did very well. The bulk f the switchs lead is thanks entirely to japan where it outsold the PS4 by around 4:1.

Yep, PS4 really seems unstoppable. Ok, Europe is Sony Land, but in NA PS4 was so close. Incredible.

yeah, switch does really great in japan, ps4 never got such high week sales in japan, even with release of big aaa games (what i don't really understand), maybe monster hunter was the only one, what did really great in japan for ps4
The Switch made a huge week and people be like "yeah PS4 is a beast"
