BTW, Yvette Cooper's amendment doesn't change anything fundamentally speaking ...

Our financial sector leaving London for Paris or Frankfurt has been one of the funniest claims in this whole Brexit game. It epitomises how deluded EU-ers are.

Well, look down below...

Wish granted, I'd say:

And that's just by November, and I'm very sure that with the deal in December falling apart we've since past the Trillion Pounds.

Yawn.

Let's make a bet.

10 years from now London will still be the financial capital of Europe.

(I thought it would be much more than 10%. Im glad those "assets" are on the ECB's books given how quickly they can turn into liabilities).

Politicians will be killed if they overturn Brexit.

(I say 'killed' instead of 'murdered' because it will be lawful as far as ~50% of the population are concerned)

For anyone concerned that Land Rover is fucked because of Brexit....
90% of their sales are diesel.
50% of their sales are from China.
The idea that Brexit will have an effect bigger than a 10% fall from China is silly.

Well, May said she wanted to get in the history books when she first became PM, and she's certainly achieved that - first government ever to be held in contempt of parliament, and now her government's been on the receiving end of the worst defeat in a parliamentary vote in history, after losing the vote on her withdrawal agreement by a margin of about 230 votes.

For reference, the previous worst defeat was suffered in 1924. By a Labour government who weren't even the biggest party in parliament at the time.

And yet last night showed us that nothing from yesterday mattered ...

Theresa May is just the ERG and DUP's play thing so no deal is looking more likely than ever as time keeps passing. It's passed the point of redemption to stake out another referendum, a general election is also out of the question too, and I also wonder if the remainer rebels within the conservative party have what it takes to defy their own party to revoke article 50 but seeing them against a vote of no confidence means that they are content with letting no deal happen ...

As for labour, does Corbyn actually care at all ? At some point he's going to have to reveal his hand along with his true face ...

So little options with so little time left ...

God Bless the Remain-ocrats.

To lose but still uphold the result of the referendum deserves major credit.

The history books will judge you well.

Brexit is one of three factors that the CEO said would make a 'perfect storm' that would make Jaguar Land Rover struggle and re-think their future investments.

You named the other two.

I have to ask (I'm probably going to regret this), what do some of you guys think "no deal" actually means?
