My favourite Nintendo franchises are 3D Mario, 3D Zelda, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart, Splatoon, and Xenoblade.

I too really want to see a 2019 release for Prime 4, but I suspect it'll be a 2020 release as we have still seen absolutely nothing of it and it's listed as "TBA" rather than "2019" on Nintendo's upcoming releases chart on their latest financials.

Hasnt only Yoshi and FE that got delayed from nintendo for the past 2 years? Im hoping MP4 is the Dec game

That would be really nice, and it kind of makes sense. If they started developing it late 2016, or early 2017, there's probably enough time to release it until December 2019, or at worst, mid 2020.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

You just switched from saying Smash should do this to it can do those numbers because of the time of year. My response was to your belief Smash will move a lot of console and nothing more. It is an ambitious line of thinking (that means your specific thought expressed). I do not believe Smash will sell a lot of consoles; however, it is quite possible that the time of year has a big affect on sales next week.

Sorry I should have clarified. with Smash Launching, a massively anticipated game that surely a lot of people are waiting to buy a Switch for, as well as the holiday season and time of year, the Switch should be up.

I came back to quote this so you can see that I was wrong. Smash did sell consoles and I was wrong to call you out on it. I am man enough to own that. My bad.

I don't think anything worth mentioning released in week 49 last year so we should be able to see what kind of boost Smash brought to the Switch by comparing next week's number to last year's.

I told you so 😋 Family has a Switch number of around 280K and when Media Create comes out later today it should be closer to 300K.

I was going to ask, any reason in particular why you thought Week 50 the Switch sales would hold flat? @zorg1000

Deeper in the holiday season typically makes week 50 as big or bigger than week 49 even when week 49 has a big release. Prime example is 3DS in 2011.

Week 49-350k (Monster Hunter)

Week 50-367k

With that said, holding flat is my optimistic prediction and I would not be surprised at all to see it drop next week.

I think you quoted the wrong person. I never doubted Smash would sell consoles.
