I think he was referring to 664k for the game, not 180k for the Switch. Can't say I remember many predictions on the ratio/sales in the comg thread though. But I hate reading.

Pokemon 2019 should hit at least 2.2m in Japan FW.

Nice!
I actually only started playing it yesterday because we wanted to play co-op right away and I really like it. I thought I'd miss wild battles, but so far I'm enjoying the new mechanics enough to not miss anything. Positively surprised.

This will probably have great legs as this echoes a lot of the sentiments I've heard from other people. It will have positive word of mouth.
