The game ended with 279 points in COMG. Why didn't people expect 180k at launch? Who were those people?

I think he was referring to 664k for the game, not 180k for the Switch. Can't say I remember many predictions on the ratio/sales in the comg thread though. But I hate reading.

Pokemon 2019 should hit at least 2.2m in Japan FW.
