the bundle was 299$ so it was a much better deal the mario odyssey, it was basically a discounted switch, it really hard to know since we have no idea idea how much bundles were made.

No it was $359, the price of Switch & Smash Bros seperately.

ah i see but it was a limited edition bundle those things always provide nice boosts to collectors. it depends how much they made they all were gonna sell out anyway.

But see how it changes the original premise of Mario Odyssey and Mario Odyssey Bundle having bigger effect, which is the point Zorg made.

So do you still think a limited bundle without added value should still be bigger than a brand new 3D Mario?

Might break 1.1m for November or December?

I don't know if you've given exact predictions for the Holiday NPD but what are you expecting the Switch to sell in November and December NPD. Only one month till we find out Nov!

2.5 million for both months combined.

I'm predicting 3.25m for Nov+Dec NPD. 1.25m in November, 2m in December.

Just two months and we can see which of us is right.

Might as well throw my prediction in: 3 Million 1 million in November and 2 million in December.

I think it will be 33% to 66%, if November ends up being 900,000 than I think 1.8 million. However if it does something like 1.25 million, I will still cap it at 2 million.

it really depends how much they made, a limited collectors item will have more power to sell hardware then COD for example, collectors items can move consoles, just look at sales of white ps4,  or gold ps4, they have give hardware huge boosts. another reason is scalpers, will buy them up to resell them. just look at ebay, smash bundles are selling for 450$ plus.

So you're comment that Switch is losing momentum isn't really based on anything since we have no idea how much stock was provided for the Smash Bundle?

it did 295k last year, this year it's 255k. My comment is based on the fact it's clearly down. we also don't really know how much mario moved hardware last year, numbers for september and october are similar just like last year.

That would be due to Mario odyssey releasing last October.

Really again? 255k is a great number its down 12% last year from switches biggest exclusive. And go and look at all Oct sales. 255k is very well ahead of other oct hw sales. And your predicting 2.5mil fpr holidays? 1.1mil Nov so 1.4mil Dec?

This should be fun. Get ready when your smash prediction 10mil lifetimw gets shatteres in under 25days
