Forums - Microsoft Discussion - $2.25 Billion in revenue for Xbox Division in Third Quarter 2018

I really hate when people use the term "made" to refer to revenue. It's simply incorrect. If your revenue was 2 billion but your expenses were also 2 billion then you absolutely did not make 2 billion, you made fuck all. What was the actual profit? That's the bit that actually counts for something.

Haha that's one way of putting it. Did they give profit figures for the whole division or the xbox sector?

The only console manufacturer who refuses to give shipment numbers or operating profit for their games division, makes their reports the least interesting.

But we are all still waiting for Vita Numbers.

It’s not interesting to me because they always make billions and billions of dollars. It’s kind of like NPD and PS4. Meh. It’s expected.

Xbox makes billions and billions on profit? Any report to show for it?

And if it isn't interesting why are you here?
