Good for Sony. I definitely see the PS3 passing the 360 this year, in 'others.'

PS3 is still way more expensive than 360 in Others as well. You almost have to feel bad for the 360...it may get to ~14 million in Others or whatever, but it could be outsold by PS3 2:1, 5:2 or more regardless of its growth from Xbox 1. Others is really the only region where PS3 is selling close to as well as PS2.

PS3 is very competitive in Europe. They will surely overtake 360 before Xmas at this rate. On the other hand 360 sales are abysmal, and have been made to look worse by the ineffective price cut.

god damnit sony, i mean i know you know better than me but come on just put the final blow in! lower the price a good amount, announce some killer games. i mean there is already a good line up but for future years we need to secure some exclusives. then again there is bluray in this whole thing. sonys not just lowering the price of there game system its there bluray player they would be losing money on too. oh well theyll make it all up in a few years huh!

They really are doing great in EU. GTA4 will be a toss up and MGS4 after a HAZEy May in June.

For Europe by end of generation: I think PS3 will hold a 70% market share of HD consoles over its rival 360 who will only have 30% market share of HD consoles. That is based on HD console sales only.

In 20 weeks time PS3 console figures will have gone pass the 360 console figures in Europe.

but guys come on... microsofts big digital download service is going to turn this around. HAHAHA... sorry. im done. rock on your right though abuot the HD market, i mean thats even more insentive to get a ps3 over 360 because bluray is a success and that will only grow. when you look at HD tv sales and what sony thinks the numbers will be over the next year it could really add alot of consoles up. woo hoo
