Yeah, if Kavanaugh was innocent, why would he act like that DURING THE HEARINGS?

You can argue it either way. If he's guilty and trying to get away with it, why rant & rave? I think that whether he's guilty or innocent he either made a calculation or was actually tipped off by Republicans that an emotional performance would play better. If he had been cool & composed people would have said “only a misgynist could have been that detached after hearing her evidence in the morning.”

You can 't just come out of nowhere and denounce someone of rape half a century after the supposed event happened, especially when all the supposed witnesses say they don't remember/know anyhting about the matter.

Do I have the decency? What an asshole thing to say. I don't recall including any personal attacks to you in my post.

Anyways, he said the seniors were legal and had beer there. Far as I've read he wrong about the drinking age and in that quote he implies that he did not partake. Regardless, however, what I'd like to hear is something beyond this scripted "I had great respect for all my female friends". Just admit you were a dumb high school kid that wanted to be seen as cool so you claimed to do more things sexually than you actually had accomplished and bragged about it in an attempt to improve your social standing. Everyone was a dumb High School kid at some point, but this tired lying about all the things he regrets. Admitting you drank a bit helps, as he did in his testimony, but if you're going to keep pretending like you never were a little misogynist piece of shit (and regret it) then you're still lying to everyone.

It was a challenge to stand by your own word, not a personal attack.

Calling me an asshole, that, sir, was a personal attack.

It was a description of the thing you said, not a personal attack. "Do you have the decency" is an asshole thing to say.

He's been through 6 previous checks. so yeah. Also I've always laughed at the pussy grabbing thing about Trump. Guess  everyone is morally innocent and has never had a sexual relation with anyone ever and were all just that damn pure.

If there was sexual assault then I'd agree with you,but alas there wasnt, so can't agree with you in this particular instance.

I think you may want to reassess what constitutes a sexual relation, going up to someone and grabbing them by the pussy aint a sexual relation, thats assault. How can you think it could be anything else?

Of course they will try to discredit Amy Coney Barret, she is a Trump-nominee and the democrats have pretty much decided any Trump-nominee will be unacceptable

It will be decidedly more difficult. They don't accept Trump nominees because he has handpicked them to overturn Roe v Wade. He has said this multiple times on camera, and the Federalist Society vetted them, and it's one of their priorities. You remember when they tried to stop Kavanaugh before they had these accusations, and they used Roe v Wade as their argument? They couldn't even get their own red state Dems to vote against him for that, much less Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski. If ACB were nominated, their main line of attack would be that, and that she's too religious and wouldn't separate church from state. That wouldn't work either, as most Republicans are Christian, and none of them are non-religious. Most of the arguments Dems make when they don't have criminal accusations are either about them being too biased towards conservatives, which doesn't work because the Supreme Court has been too politicized and no one cares about that anymore, or some specific decision they'd make on a particular issue, which doesn't work either because we're too polarized as a nation and there isn't a single issue that unites member cross-party.
